Hey guys! I have my first Posh Off Record Post!! I was hoping to have this up much earlier but life happened lol. If you don't know, I'm going to school to be a nail tech!!! Which is awesome but also time consuming. But I'm here now so let's talk about some polishes! I already made an intro for this series but just a recap. This series is going to be me swatching my random polishes that either don't have a collection or I didn't buy the whole collection. This is just how I want to show them off and give them a second in the spotlight. With a lot of these polishes they are drugsor and about five years old. Yikes! So some of them I will be throwing away because they have gone bad and others might be going into a polish project I plan on starting soon. I'm not trying to downsize my collection necessarily, but some of these older polishes I no longer reach for and instead of throwing them away I'll just use them up. Okay enough talk!! Let's get swatchin'!!
First up is Wet n' Wild 'I Need A Refresh-mint'. This is a gorgeous Robin's egg blue cream. Opaque in 1-2 coats, amazing formula! I really love this polish but I no longer reach for it so I'll be adding this to my polish project next summer!
Next up is Claire's 'Sunshine'. This is a highlighter yellow polish and dries to matte finish. I used three coats in my swatch and it definitely needs undies (white base). Its nt a very unique color and it was getting some lumps so I'm just going to toss this one.
Next is Essie 'Need A Vacation'. This is a gorgeous bubblegum pink cream. Not a super unique color but sfunning. Opaque in two coats and this one is just going to be put back with others because I love this polish!
Next up is Bonita 'Flaming Juan'. This is a bright neon orange jelly. This was opaque in three coats and because it has that jelly base it looks nice a squishy on the nails. This will be added to my polish project for next summer as well.
Last up is Hard Candy 'Black Tie Optional' and I have this layered over Orly 'Snuggle Up. This is a glitter topper with black and white matte hexes in different sizes and black bar glitter. Mine is very thick so this swatch is with one coat. I really love how this topper looks especially over neons! But I don't think I can get another manicure out of mine so if you know of any dupes please let me know!!!
